2020
During the first Covid lockdown in 2020 I began a project which combined my interest in football and passion for art. The aim was to support non-league football clubs by painting their stadiums and sending them the originals to auction off to supporters or sell prints in their club shops. As a result, I was pleased to be interviewed by BBC Three Countries Radio and featured on Talk Sport, The Non-League Paper and various other local news outlets.
2019
In 2019, I was inspired to paint a scene from a photo I took at a Mansfield Town match. After getting a good deal of interest following a social media post, I got in touch with commercial team at the club and negotiated a deal to get some prints into their club shop. This was a big moment for me and was delighted to see them sell! The print is available to buy here.
2021
In January 2021 I reached a personal milestone of selling over 200 prints and bespoke commissions in just a year, something I was and am immensely proud of considering I was juggling a busy full-time job (with and equally busy family life!)
2023
I was commissioned by Mansfield Museum and Palace Theatre to paint a street view of their historic buildings. It was a real pleasure to use my skill set to bring such a historic building to life on paper! I'm delighted that the Museum are now in the process of using the image on a number of their products.
